I'd be happy to see them go after people for fraud.

If that means more reviews for the rest of us, I'll be nervous when it's my turn....and I wouldn't look forward to gethering the medical records again, but I refuse to lose sleep over that now. I know how my body feels and I know that I can't work.

Don't laugh at me, but my mom got me hooked on Judge Judy. I can't tell you how many times I've seen deadbeats on there who say they are disabled and then admit to working under the table at physical jobs like landscaping and carpentry. Doh !

I have an 'invisible' disability and I know not to judge just on how someone looks. I've had questions and snide comments from people who don't understand why I can't work because I 'look fine'. And I do look fine....once or twice a month when I take extra pain pills and get out to socialize. The rest of the month, I'm stuck in the house, in pain, often stuck in bed (so I can hoard pain pills for when I am able to go out), unwashed and in my jammies. I miss more social events than I can attend because of pain issues. People don't always understand if they see me out and about, it's on one of my good days, not one of my normal days......and certainly not one of my bad days !

It irritates me to no end that SS won't have enough money to pay us the rest of our lives as they should.....and some lazy people are abusing the system and taking money fraudulently.

One of the clowns on Judge Judy was on SSI because he had ADHD. So do I....it didn't stop me from being a good student, going to college, and working for 20 years before my body quit on me. If his ADHD was so bad that he couldn't work (which conceivably could happen if sx's were severe), why was his mental status 'good' enough for him to get married several times and have 3 different baby mommas ?
