Provigil and Insurance
My insurance company didn't want to pay for Provigil either until I called to challenge their decision. Many times they will say it is being perscribed "off label" meaning for something other than its original intension (narcalepsy etc). When I called, I explained that I did not have narcalepsy or whatever but it was being perscribed for MS fatigue. It took just the phone call to overturn their decision. Apparently, the insurance company did not recognize that I was given the perscription for MS fatigue......just MS.
Its worth a try......if it doesn't work, have your doc perscribe something cheaper.
