ON Resveratrol:
Those Wikipedia claims can be fleeting, so best not to put all one's faith in that as it is written by anybody can edit it. That being said there is much research that points to Resvertrol's beneficial effects on the body. And there is much research that needs to be done especially on humans to confirm that done on insects and animals. But I would chalk it up there with fish oil in terms of important supplements. As long as you stay within around 200mgs a day you should only reap benefits.
And Resveratrol is beneficial for the liver(reduces fatty liver and regenerates cells) whereas pharmaceutical drugs are not. Amytriptillyne only adds to one's toxic load. As I have Neuropathy, anything I can do to reduce my toxic load......... I do. I have been taking this Resveratrol/Curcumin combo for a while and it has added a DEFINITE boost to my overall health(energy, strength, wellbeing, no pain).
