Welcome, Linda!

Sorry for your health issues, but this is a good place to come for answers, comfort, and friendship.

I am not a doctor. I was dxd with MS 3 years ago. I did take a DMD (Copaxone) for several months, but grew tired of the daily injections.

I've been on LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) for 2 years now. I think it helps me with my energy level. It is used for several applications, including Crohn's and AIDS/HIV patients. Here is a website: http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/

Also, we have a thread here at NeuroTalk: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread71392.html

I don't know whether this would be helpful in your case, but if you're like me, I like to know what other options that may help. Dr. Skip Lenz of Skip's (compounding) Pharmacy in Florida says he takes LDN daily as a prophylactic.

Best wishes to you!
