I have a herniated disc at L5/s1.. Probably a few above it are giving me problems. If I were to opt for surgery, I'm sure it would be fusion time again. I had 4 level cervical fusion. The lumbar would be a longer, slower, possibly more painful recovery. Instead of a collar, a body type brace. Going into summer, that would be hot. I'm looking into spinal cord stim to hold off on the surgery.
