Had my uterus out in 92, after years of trouble.
I have read various reports that having this surgery reduces blood flow to the ovaries & can cause earlier onset of menopause.
It was worth it to me... Constant bleeding & a uterus that said "hello" when being examined and told to cough by the doc:
