Doing any kind of exercise for the pectorals, including push-ups and bench-presses results for me in horrible pain in the rhomboids, not immediately, but later in the day and for several days. It also provokes a less intsense flare up of pain in the cervical neck and delts.

I have not experimented with performing a pectorals exercise with my torso position vertically rather than horizontally. I am not optimistic that the outcome would be much different.

However, I can perform the Yoga poses of Cat, Downward Facing and Upward Facing Dog without any apparent contraindications. Odd.
