Sounds like then need to do a GI series and a gastric emptying test. The SMA was secondary to the Gastroparesis. Here is a link for the SMA Syndrome, you would absolutely know if she had this. I almost lost my daughter to this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superio...rtery_syndrome

My guess would be Gastroparesis. How old is your daughter? If she is still pediatric I know of a great group in South Florida that you can take her to.

I am on my way to have my daughter hospitalized in South Florida and I have to get packed for the trip. I will check in a couple of days and send you some more information.

Every fall she would vomit for six or more weeks and then it would just fade away. Sometimes it would happen in the spring as well. She had many scopes and they never came up with anything conclusive.
