He will respect you for the fact that YOU are trying to learn about what you have and will be dealing with!!!

You'd better read up fast and learn faster and get your appt ASAP then start asking questions? Hard ones, and expect answers,...not the 'ubiquitous' 'I'll get back to you'.... Follow up w/phone calls about the 'get backs'? And keep at it!
