i forget which nerve it is but there is one -perhaps the phrenic nerve. Anyhow, it controls your diaphragm, and if it aggravated can affect your breathing. Just a stab in the dark as I'm not we get doctor. However, the reason we get back spasms is supposedly because in the long thoracic nerve or some other nerve that feeds the back muscles is compressed somewhere in the scalenes or the brachial plexus - if you phrenic nerve is somehow compressed in the mess of muscles, then perhaps that is why you are having trouble nreathing. I think it would go along with how some folks have the chest pain and fast heartbeat.

sorry you feel so crappy. I know the shots were hell for me, like I said I was down a good two weeks.
