Default leg dragging / Inertia on mobility scooter is giving me relief

This may sound a little strange , so i'll try to keep it brief in case any one reads this .

What i wanted to ask was if any one here found or finds relief if someone or something else is supporting their limbs - esp in inertia or " passive resistance " against something moving.

The best example I can give of this is this video but with someone on mobility scooter just leaving his legs to drag instead. *edit*

Im not sure if its the 6months of being housebound now and cabin fever, but since trying this , I have been hooked - purely because its the only thing that gives me some relief .

Of course me floor is smooth and I use socks , but it feels like heaven .

Im not schooled enough to know why but I sense that this isnt the only way this might be possible i.e. one of those portable seascooters in swimming pool or against some current sounds like it would be nice too, any one have any thoughts why ?
