I am suppose to have my EMG test tomorrow. Is the EMG and the single fiber EMG (SFEMG) the same test?? He wants to do it in the eye muscles and the shoulders. I have read that this test is VERY painful, esp of the eyes. Have any of you had this test in the eye muscles, is this test really that painful? Is it a good and highly sensitive enough test for MG that it is worth it for me?? Thanks you guys. Teelae
