Hi Mary,
Mice to meet you. Some people have found they get RSD after TOS surgery, or that they had it all along.
I have both but never had the surgery. Not sure if that is good or bad as I
reacted positive for surgery to the scalene block.
There is a lot of information on RSD if you go over to that board.
You can even search for back information as this question is already posted
over there. My personal opinion is that if you have a stellate ganglion block, you have a better chance of a correct diagnosis. This is so important as it is important to know if you really do have it so you will get correct and timely treatment. One site is
http://www.rsdsa.org/2/what_is_rsd_crps/index.html
1/3 down the page you can click on the "diagnosis section"
I hope you don't have this but if you do, early treatment is your best hope to get yourself into remission. All the best to you, Hope
