Default Bioavailability of Curcumin

Curcumin has poor bioavailability, that is alone, it is not readily absorbed by the body. Bioperine, a patented form of piperine, extracted from black pepper, improves the bioavailability of curcumin by a factor of 2,000 times!!
Curcumin has undergone 6 safety trials successfully, but was the same source of curcumin used? Like most natural compounds, it is a mixture, as discussed in the article. The article raises another question, does the bioperine improve all the constituents of curcumin.
Imark, I can understand why you find the article confusing. Incidentally I also take the same dose as yourself.
