This is about as comprehensive a list of actually serological tests for possible causes of neuropathy as is out there (it was designed to guide the major laboratory test company Quest).

Some of the tests listed, particularly those for antibodies to peripheral nerve, wouldlikely only be orderd by a specialty center for neuropathy, but many of the others would be orderable by any physician (and you might want to bring a copy of this with you to such appointments).

--put together by a patient as a very comprehensive list of tests for neurological symptoms, and as a good way to track test results over time (and many of us here have used them).
