EMG really only tests the major nerves - median, radial.
For most of us it is used mainly to rule out major nerve problems.
Ours are more often the sensory nerves that get affected.
What happens when you do put weight on your rt wrist?
extreme pain?
collapses?
numbness?
I would get sharp crampy pains & & constant pulling feeling in my left wrist , turned out it was stemming from the tension all up my arm, neck & shoulders. I also had a feeling like a tight bracelet or watch was on my wrist all the time early on during my wc injury.
Finally PT & also had chiro about the same time frame, treated the tension higher up and the wrist sx resolved. Chiro also did a few adjustments/traction type tx on the wrist at times.
