Hi all,
I am a proffessional heli pilot and I was diagnosed with rls about 20 years ago but only when it got worse about 4 years ago i sought help. My neurosurgeon did all the tests possible, scans, mri, x-rays, blood work and 3 days and nights at a sleep clinic. Eventualy i started to spasm in my arms and legs. Now i jerk from my torso( jackknife) which is exremely painfull. I have been put on different medication, Epilin, Requip, sinemet, rivItrol neuronton and with diff dosages.Eventually they all wear off and then I sometimes go 3/4 days of no sleep. Anybody out there with any ideas that may help will be appreciated. Being a pilot I have to be careful what I TAKE AND WHEN.:
