Even the hair analysis for heavy metals can be misleading. Maybe you need to look at multiple types of test results and see what's common in each. I assume you had blood tests also to check for heavy metals.

Regarding DMSA challenge....Pretty much everyone would have an elevation of some heavy metals since the DMSA is actively pulling out the metals. John did the challenge and the mercury came out as OK and then the doctor told us that it takes a few chelation session before you see the mercury levels rise in the urine. Found the process so frustrating and inconclusive.

So I pretty much think there is no clean way to truly assess the heavy metal burden with urine, hair and blood. We all have a heavy metal burden impacting our health on some level and it's not always the quantity that's important; It's more about which organ is most impacted by even a tiny amount.
