Yes, I wonder in what way you were ill...?

The amount of D in a capsule is so tiny... really... micrograms.

The units look big, but in reality the amount is tiny.

1000IU D3 is .025mg or 25micrograms

so 4000 IU is .1mg or 100micrograms.

People getting ill on Vit D? Only thing comes to my mind is sarcoidosis. There are restrictions on use of Vit D because it is not clear if patients with this rare condition can safely take external D supplements.

Side effects are just not common.

I started with 10,000 IU D3 every other day and I have NOTHING in the way of side effects.

The liquigel D2 given by doctors on RX, has a small amount of sorbitol in it, but even that is tiny and unlikely to cause GI upset.
