I guess I dont have to decide if I want a Galaxy Tab or an iPad. My dad made the decision for me. He just sent me an email that he forwarded from Apple telling him when his order was going to get here.

I'm getting a white iPad 2 (64gb, Wifi only) on the 25th. (my b-day is the 24th of this month)

Now I just have to decide what cover to buy for my iPad.

I do wonder if I should have asked for a new Tivo instead. My Tivo died tonight. Just about killed myself tonight trying to get the tivo and the old cable box out of my bookcase so I could put a cable DVR into the bookcase. (stole the DVR from my dad's bedroom. He wasnt using it anyways) After seeing the HD on my tv for the first time since I got the tv, makes me thing nope...I dont want another Tivo. (my Tivo didnt get HD signals, so I'd never seen the HD on my HD tv.)
