I think it's worth it. They have a vast amount of knowledge and experience with the brain. I figure that is worth something. I don't follow a doctor without thinking, but they are worth something and can be very helpful. They are not always useless or bad.

I told mine very frankly that I was there to talk and didn't mean to demean her but didn't expect her to do any miracles. I used her to talk out the healing process and make sure I was on track in my undersatnding of what I have to do for myself.

It was a $20 copay and there's someone now looking out for me.

She did prescribe prednizone for me (amazingly helpful) and give me some peace of mind that everything I'm going through has been "normal" so far.

It's been worth it for me.
