Yes, I agree. Continue with drugs or other toxins, and no healing may occur. Some toxins, like Thallium, if ingested enough, can destroy the nervous system and lead to death.

Others like arsenic also can lead to permanent damage.(if the amount is high enough).

There are some books on Google with details about toxins and pesticides. Just put in "neuropathy toxins" in the search.

I put in an interesting article on the Mitochondria post about damaging mitochondria which are involved in the conduction of signals down the long axons. It gives a mental image of how this happens.
