The spray can is ethyl chloride, and old product, that is very cold and temporarily numbs skin. Can be used before piercings too.
I don't think you meant, the SAME as the dentist uses? My dentist uses benzocaine in a little swab. I don't think ethyl chloride is approved for dental use.
