The low carb pasta Dreamfield's has this added.
And some yogurts, like Stoneyfield's organic.

With our history in US of antibiotic overuse, I think FOS and inulin are helpful. Used in really high amounts however, may trigger fructose intolerant people. It doesn't seem to affect me negatively yet.

Some pet food manufacturers are putting FOS into their pet foods too.
