I can really relate to the temp issues. I really hate when one part of my body is sweating and the other is freezing. Living in FL too it is so hot and humid outside and then you go indoors and it is like Alaska it is freezing.
My friend with temp issues who has a husband got an air unit put in a spare bedroom that helps her control the temp better. You can get those covers for the vents too or air directors I have used cause air blowing on me hurts.
Ok sorry for my vent on this subject. Stay warm or cool!

I know how you feel. I live in Bangkok and there is never a "good' temp.
Outside its like walking into the amazon jungle at midday and inside especially when I sleep the room is like a freezer, the low temp acts like a full body ice pack.
My G/F is the only person wrapped in a blanket watching TV in thailand
I truly understand the need to be single. I hate being a burden on anyone especially on the weekend when I get the chirpy "hi honey lets go shopping and see a movie' ughhhh.. still it is a distraction and drags me off the coach
