If you drink alcohol frequently, or suspect you have Candida yeast in the GI tract...from overuse of antibiotics, etc, Benfotiamine may help.

This helps metabolically where thiamine is involved in metabolism.

I really think your injury may have caused scar tissue, adhesions there, which may be compressing your nerves, or pulling on them, etc. If that is the case, supplements may not help much over the long haul.

But if you have metabolic problems, supplements may help. Most of them are going to help loads of other issues in your body besides...cardiovascular and aging to name a few.
