Strawberry,

So glad I could help!! Dealing with PCS when you already have a pre-existing anxiety disorder like panic, can be extremely overwhelming. I know exactly where you are coming from!

As for your nasal passages swelling, I experienced something similar a few years back and continue to off and on. I also do not get a lot of mucus, but tend to have swelling of the passages that are extremely painful and trigger headaches. A quick clinic prescribed a steriod nasal spray that took down the swelling. I wish I still had it, so I could tell you what it is called. It worked wonders! Perhaps look into over the counter stuff like Afrin?

Don't get upset about your treatment at MedExpress.... I ended up in the ER last weekend due to a severe migraine and new symptoms, double vision, extreme confusion etc. My boyfriend told them I have PCS and that he was concerned that something serious was going on. They said, oh she just has a migraine, we'll put her on an IV of Ibprofen, anti-nausea meds and liquids.... Really? Thanks for all the help. I already tried all that a home by myself... Needless to say I left there feeling the same way.

I've learned from being on these boards that not many people, even in the medical field, understand concussion/PCS. Its really sad, because we end up in their care feeling like we're crazy or it's "all in our heads" as a neurologist implied to me. Even with the runaway train of panic, don't second guess your symptoms. If you are feeling them, they are real. Just because someone can't prove it, doesn't mean you aren't in pain or suffering.

Keep healin
