Surprisingly, I've been able to tolerate the walks just fine. I don't know if it's the elavil or me but I wasn't ready for this a few weeks ago. I'm tempted to try more time on my walks but I think I'm pretty close to pushing it to the limit and that's right where I need to be. Which is great becuase it leaves me feeling good and not dissapointed.
I've also been doing a lot of yard work the last week or two, so I'm actually doing more physical work than just the walks but the yard work is a different animal entirely. It's a lot of stops and starts and some heavy lifting. I noticed that easing into that worked as well. At first I would just sit and mess with the ground near me, now I'm carrying wheel barrows of mulch to the back yard to spread, cutting branches, raking, etc. If I start feeling poorly I pack it up and go in. I haven't pushed myself just to get to the end of a project like I normally would. I leave things undone now if I have to and get back to it the next day.
Yes, be careful and progress slowly. I still have some questions about this whole concussion thing but the slow progression approach seems to be working. Whatever it is that is working, I'm happy.
Take good care!
