Default types of tremor

I've had several doctors give a lot of attention to my right hand tremor. Others pronounced a resting tremor while some said active tremor. Now that I'm detoxing off sinemet it has turned into a jackhammer active and resting tremor that comes and goes very suddenly. This seems to be a very common reaction to going off sinemet. It's becoming much less often and less severe with lesser doses of sinemet.

My current doc believes it is definitely NOT a PD tremor. He also told me that if it was PD that Inderal (propanolol-adrenaline blocker) would not work. Inderal works very well on it and always did. Is this true? One doc said he thought I had a benign tremulous Parkinsonian tremor but everyone else disagrees with that. This doc also suggested a very fast sinemet detox with NO relief from muscle cramping. This is how I ended up tearing my hip muscles, injuring a knee and shoulders, and injuring my thumb. 90% of the docs I've seen recently say it is not typical PD tremor.

I've done a lot of reading on line. My question to those who KNOW is what is a typical/classic PD tremor for you. What meds other than sinemet help or definitely do not help? If anyone has BPT or any other type of what are those symptoms/relievers for you?

Thanks so much for your help.
