WEN is way, way out of my price range. Vinegar and baking soda is more in my price range.
Do you have long hair? Like Kelly, I have long hair past the bottom of my bra line. I need to use a little more shampoo than those with shorter hair. Many times, I only wash my scalp as my hair tends to be on the dry side and then condition all of my hair. I also have thin hair but have lots of it. It damages easily.
I use Dove shampoo. I am semi-gluten free and apparently Dove does not contain any gluten as other shampoos and soaps do. I love it and it does make my hair soft and manageable. However, now that it's summer, my hair is even drier. I may try some of the recipes from Kelly's link. I do use olive oil as a deep conditioning every so often, once a month or so (I also use olive oil with sugar as a good face scrub - leaves your skin so nice and soft and smooth). But maybe I can incorporate it in to the vinegar rinse. Good golly, I'll come out of the shower smelling like salad dressing!

I'm glad you found something that works well for your hair! It is so nice when we do. Keep us updated on how it works over time. Maybe if I hit the lottery, I can get some to try.
