I wonder if you all know I'm from that city of riots... and we are all very appalled at what happened ... it had nothing to do with the hockey... just a chance for drunken idiots to put on a horrible act of destruction....

I wonder if you know that the Vancouver fans who were actually inside watching the Bruins win the cup were very proud to be there and cheered on the Bruins as if they were our own Canucks. They had no idea what was going on outside... and I am so proud of our TV channels... they did NOT show the outside (but we KNEW something was going on because it was so predictable...sigh..... ) ... over 100,000 people filled downtown to watch the game on big screens... I had friends there with their little 6 yr old... all transit was stopped, no taxis.... they luckily had a relative in the area...

I wonder if you know that I put off writing about this here because human behaviour is so freaking unexplainable at times... (one of the people who lit a police car on fire - you probably all saw it on the news - was an olympic hopeful - 17 yrs old... son of a doctor.... ) ....

and all I can say is this: but for the grace of God go I...

I wonder if I'm suffering the change of a med or if I have the flu... this sucks! its an acid reflux drug - doc wants me off the prescription I've been on for many years and has me trying Zantac... sigh..... so today I have all the side effect symptoms: can't sleep, throwing up, coming out the other end, too, drowsiness....

... I know in the scheme of things... this is so minor...

I wonder that I will go to the library tomorrow... for Still Alice. Alffeeee, I'm so scared for you ... prayers big time here! xoxoxo
