i think the "trick" for mood success is in the dosage.
i don't know recall the daily dosage in terms of EPA and DHA respectively, but you have to take a good amount.
i forget the dose, but the ones i was taking if you took a capsule a day it was nowhere near enough. it was like i had to take 2 of those dang torpedos THREE TIMEs a day (with each meal). and the same with Borage oil (O6) when i took that. i never managed more than 4 a day of either. and i couldn't keep it up very long either... heard it can take up to 3 months for the system to respond. i maybe did it for a month.
i recall mrsD suggesting Krill oil being more "efficient" in terms of a source for these but i am a bit concerned about the little critters (Krill) becoming extinct... maybe if i they would farm it and not depleting natural resources. but the other thing is i haven't been able to investigate availability/convenience where i live - just too dang busy and exhausted lately.
