most of our town are snow birds. They leave Oct 1 and come back around April 1. They miss all the heavy, blowing, suffocating snow. It can be quite beautiful, and can be so amazing, and you know I love it when the town empties out, and they leave us to ourselves. no lines at the stores, no wait for a close up parking spot, no waiting at restaurants, just zip in, and zip out. There are benefits to going against the main stream, but I gotta admit sun sounds great when January turns it ugly head and our bones are cracking from lack of Vit D.
