Methylcobalamin only helps those who are low in it, or deficient.

Some neurological conditions do seem to improve with it in people who are in normal ranges, but not all respond that way.

The way I understand this thread, the original poster is already getting treatment from a doctor, with injectable B12. So switching to an oral form may be more efficient and successful for her.
