Hello All,

It was been quite some time since I have written so I figured I would follow-up with an update.

I suppose things have remained about the same since my last post, and perhaps have become slightly worse. My mother is presently taking CD/LD 25/100 8 pills per day and as I have mentioned in the past, they are not doing her much justice. I feel as if she has slowed down tremendously in terms of her ability to walk. She refuses to go anywhere in public and only leaves the house for doctor's appointments. She is taking Sanctura for her incontinence which seems to be helping. She is also taking Clonazepam at night which is supposed to help her sleep.

Last Thursday she complained of a severe stomach ache which she said was almost as painful as child labor. Then, the following day, she started with the diarrhea again. The diarrhea is not as bad as it was back in January when she was hospitalized for the dehydration, but it seems as if as long as she continues to take the CD/LD she is going to suffer from the diarrhea.

She has decided that she no longer wants to see the MDS in Philly that we have been seeing. She now wants to make an appointment at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, which is about 1 hour away from us. The drive to and from Philly is too hard on her anymore. We have called UPenn and requested that her records be transferred to Lehigh Valley Hospital Center and we are waiting for a return phone call indicating that the records have been transferred.

That is about all for now.
