We had to change our cat food kibble when the Iam's recall happened.

I then switched to a specific ScienceDiet for elder cats.

Then both of our very old cats started to decline rapidly and both died within 3 months of each other. One from kidney failure and one from a blood clot in the spine (had to have her put to sleep).

I keep thinking about this change. They had been on Eukanuba kibble for over a decade!

We are back to Eukanuba kibble now. (not a main source of food, we also give home cooked chicken, some salmon, and also canned and pouched foods rotated.

When I asked our vet about this... the premier cat vet... they just said, keep doing what you are doing. The vets don't even know IMO.
