I am an almost 60 year old female, symptomatic of MS since the mid '70's but not diagnosed until 2006. While the diagnosis was a shock, it was also such a relief to know there was actually something with a NAME wrong with me!
I found this site looking for information on "posterior thoracic pain." Years of discomfort have finally reached the point where the (now) size C "girls" cause too much discomfort to wear a bra. I can't imagine how bad I'd feel today if I still weighed over 300 pounds with DD's!
I've endured massage (Dear God, help me!), a 1 time visit to a chiropractor

, exercise and an ineffective neuro-block between T/3 - T/7 among other vodoo suggestions

. Only out of pride do I don a bra 2 sizes too big when I have a doctor's appt, which occur far too frequently.n nThe CT and MRI scans don't show any real abnormality, nor does the basic X-ray.
It was almost (again) a relief to find it's a long standing MS flare! I've had Gabapentin (Neurotin) prescribed for over a year but have been taking it only at bedtime, instead of the 3X a day as prescribed. Once reading the topic and responses, I immediately took my mid day dose and I'm heading to the couch and the heating pad.
I have written the website on a postie and stuck it on the inside of my computer desk door. I'll be back!
Thank you once again!
Tina
