Yes--
Magnetic resonance neurography IS supposed to be better for imaging nerves, specifically--the slightly altered frequencies help distinguish the nerves fro mother tissue.
It's still considered an experimental testing procedure by most insurances, though. It's been around about 20-25 years now, but I have yet to see it being adopted on a widespread basis.
