The only one you have to take alone on an empty stomach is the B12.

YOu can take the B1 with food or any time.

Many women still having menstrual periods are low in ferritin.
Ferritin is the storage form for iron. If you are not eating meat, or you have low acid in the stomach it cannot be absorbed well.

If your other CBC tests were normal, it just means you are using more stored iron for your needs than taking in.

When ferritin is really high that is the time to worry.
