This diagnosis means that these protein peptides made in excess in your body, are thickening your blood so it does not flow well in the extremities.

You can help this situation by:
1) controlling your intake of fat and sugar during meals. It has been shown that high fat intake (including ice cream) thickens the blood in NORMAL volunteers for several hours after eating.
Controlling fat intake may help the blood move along better.
Avoiding sugar in general lowers triglycerides which also thicken the blood.

2) you can try soaking in lukewarm epsom salts to enable the magnesium in them to increase the circulation in your feet.
Use about 2-3 ounces in a pan, or 4-6 ounces in a bathtub. Soak for about 1/2 hr.

Fish oil and Vit E also help thin the blood in patients where thickened blood reduces circulation.
