I damaged my Achilles Tendon during Step Aerobics years ago and it hurt sooooo much, there was a lump just where my shoe ended and it was particularly painful first thing in the morning, especially when going down stairs. I remember giving up the excercise classes and it took an age to get better, Good Luck
