I too, have a hard time separating my fibro symptoms from my neuropathy and arthritis symptoms. Although, I can often tell when it's a nerve problem, so that isn't arthritis, but neuropathy and fibro both involve nerves.
My feet ache when I walk too. My left thigh sometimes feels like someone is punching it with every step. I do realize though, the walking is my physical therapy and it must be done, otherwise things will only get worse, so I keep at it. Some days are ok though, so that helps with the bad days, just knowing there will be good days too.

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!
