Hi Everyone! YES!!! Spring is FINALLY, FINALLY coming to the Mountains!
Like the others who live in "snow country", it has been in the low to mid 60's, the snow is melting (YAY!) and in my yard, I can actually SEE large patches of the lawn and the flower borders.

The most EXCITING thing--the tulips and the daffodils are poking their way up, even through spots of snow. And. I could have SWORN I heard the distinctive chirp of a ROBIN the other day!!!!! In the Mountains, Robins are the TRUE "harbingers of spring"!.

Spring reminds me that no matter how cold and cruel the winters in our life can be, if we can just be TENACIOUS, there will be more beautiful, warm sunny days ahead. HOPE ENDURES, and is REWARDED by many, many beautiful things, however small they may be...like birds chirping and crocuses blooming ..and a robin searching for worms amongst the snowy grass.
