I'm sorry you are dealing with chronic pain. I know how difficult it is and how desperate you can feel.
Have you ever heard of myofascial trigger point therapy? It's a wonderful treatment for a chronic pain that traditional medicine is not able to "fix." It's completely non-invasive and based on treating tight muscles and tendons that cause pain. The trigger points are not usually located in the same place that you feel the pain. My son, who has movement disorder, has been going to one for months and almost never complains of pain any more. I just had my first treatment for back pain. In my case, it is caused by abdominal muscles. After a 1 hour treatment, the pain was gone. If you are interested in trying it, google it along with your city name to see if there's a therapist near you.
Check out the center for pain treatment (centerforpaintreatment dot com), that is where we go for therapy. There's a video on the website where you can see what the therapist does and how it works.
