I have been having trouble with my debit cards over the last few years. I need anew one about every 5 months or so because the black strip on the back stops working.

I had been blaming this on my son because he just shoves it in his pocket and I assumed that he was scratching it up.

Well, I was in CVS one day and the clerk was having a hard time getting my card to swipe. She took one look at my wallet and said "there's your problem"!

My mom bought me this great Coach wallet and it holds sentimental value for me. The part where I put my card has a magnetic closure! The magnetic has been destroying my cards! Duh! Why didn't I think of that??

So, ladies, if you have magnetic closure on your wallet, be careful of how close you put your cards to it.
