Good question, and a long time ago! I guess I enjoyed my high school years as much as any teenager enjoys anything. I wasn't in with the "fast" crowd OR the "popular" crowd. I liked some classes, hated others. Had a few good friends; wasn't bullied or shunned, though I never felt I really fit in anywhere. I had plenty of angst.
When I hear one of the oldies from the sixties, especially the early sixties, I think "Wow, that really takes me back!" But...I don't really want to GO back. There were good times, and painful times.
