MG has been said to be a "head and down" disease, because it often is first noticed in the eye/facial muscles. Guillain-Barre is the opposite, being first noticed in the legs. And here's another interesting fact. When I talk too much, I can't close my mouth. It's so much fun to have to sleep with your mouth open.

With GB, they have the opposite problem and can't open their mouth.
