Yep, Marlene, it will probably say if its analoge on the back, digital began about five years ago, , although somewhere I read a few digital tvs get snow, bt its not all frequency and thus wont give the same effect, and probably wont work, and the vast majority of digitals dont get it. I bought my analogue tv sets at thrift stores for ten dollars . Make sure the snow is not distorted by bleedthru on some channels
