Confused post surgery oddities

My uncle suffered from a ruptured aneurysm three nights ago. He was feeling unwell and his was rushed to the hospital. He had multiple seizures and was put into sedation and had his head scanned. Immediately he had to be airlifted to another hospital. The doctor told us it seems he's had this aneurysm for a few years now. He was not given good odds of even surviving the surgery. We were also told this was class five which is the worst level he could be at. He pulled through the surgery and is on and off of sedation. The problems the staff are seeing is that he is very slow to recover any movement of his body. At the same time though when they take him off sedation he is awake alert and looking around. He can move his head and they saw him lift his leg slightly. only one time though. Don't know what to think about any of this. Or who to talk to.
