I have to wear a brace on my rsd leg and foot because of the foot drop caused from the surgery that gave me rsd, so that is rough going. because of the rigidity of that brace i have to take the brace off several times a day but cannot walk without it. I use wide sneakers to help get around that swelling problem. I have to wear shoes with backs that hold on to the brace ... it is a problem. how I miss my slip on canvas shoes! and my dr. schols wooden sandals. it was so hard to give those away. joan
